BOOKING, CANCELLATION & STUDIO POLICIES

Appointment Booking

All appointments must be booked in advance through our online booking system. Appointments are considered confirmed once a confirmation email or message is sent.

By booking an appointment with Yaru Curls | Curly Head Spa, you agree to all policies listed below.

Deposits & Payments

Certain services may require a non refundable deposit or a valid credit card on file to secure the appointment. Deposits are applied toward the total service cost. Full payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise stated.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

• Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged up to 50% of the scheduled service.
• Same-day cancellations may be charged up to 100% of the service price.

No Show Policy

Failure to arrive for an appointment without prior notice is considered a no-show.

• No shows may be charged 100% of the scheduled service.
• Repeated no shows may result in restricted booking privileges or require deposits for future appointments.

Late Arrivals

Clients are expected to arrive on time.

• Arrivals up to 15 minutes late may receive a shortened service at full price.
• Arrivals exceeding 15 minutes may be considered a cancellation and subject to applicable fees.

Client Intake & Consent Forms

All clients must complete required intake and consent forms prior to their appointment. Failure to complete forms may result in rescheduling.

Children’s Services

For Curly Kids appointments, a parent or legal guardian must remain present during the service. All children’s services are designed to be gentle, age-appropriate, and comfort focused.

Detangling Policy

To ensure the best service experience and to respect the time scheduled for each appointment, clients are required to arrive with their hair fully detangled and in its natural state (no braids, twists, tight ponytails, or protective styles).

Detangling is not included in our standard services.
If detangling is required at the beginning of the appointment, a detangling fee will apply, based on the level of tangling and the additional time needed.

In cases of severe tangling that may compromise hair health or interfere with the scheduled service time, the appointment may need to be rescheduled.

Refund Policy

All services are final once rendered.
No refunds are issued for completed or partially completed services. Deposits and cancellation fees are nonrefundable.

Pricing & Service Adjustment Policy

Yaru Curls reserves the right to update or adjust service prices at any time without prior notice. Pricing may change due to factors such as service customization, hair length, density, condition, time required, product usage, or operational costs.

All prices listed on our website or booking platform represent starting prices. Final pricing may vary based on the professional assessment performed during your appointment.

Price updates do not affect confirmed appointments already booked and paid at the time of booking, unless additional services or add-ons are requested during the visit.

By booking an appointment with Yaru Curls, you acknowledge and accept this pricing policy.

Health & Safety Disclosure

Clients are responsible for disclosing any medical conditions, scalp sensitivities, allergies, pregnancy, or concerns prior to the service. Yaru Curls reserves the right to modify or refuse services for safety reasons.

​

Right to Refuse Service

Yaru Curls reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who fails to comply with studio policies or engages in inappropriate behavior.
