Yaru Curls was born in 2014 in Costa Rica, when founder Yalitza Saavedra recognized a gap in the beauty industry a lack of spaces that truly celebrated natural curls.
What began as a small studio quickly became the first salon in Costa Rica exclusively specialized in curly and textured hair. Through education, empathy, and science based care, Yalitza built a movement that empowered women to embrace their natural texture without fear or judgment.

With over a decade of experience dedicated to understanding the beauty, science, and individuality of curly hair, Yalitza Saavedra is the visionary behind Yaru Curls Studio.

Originally from Costa Rica, Yalitza began her journey as a pioneer in natural curl care, founding one of the first salons in her country exclusively for textured hair. Today, she brings that same passion and expertise to Orlando, Florida, blending advanced trichology, holistic scalp therapy, and personalized rituals that celebrate self-love and authenticity.
